Free writing is one way to loosen writer’s block. Write freely and fluidly (possibly following a prompt) without stopping and without care for mechanics or structure. This is also a nice way to generate ideas.

Writing in a grammatically correct way seems trivial but it has an impact on the credibility of the work as well as how the reader understand the work (source: look only at the papers marked as poorly written).
